COVID-19 POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Keeping clients, staff members and our loved ones safe is my utmost priority.

Please read the information provided below so that you are aware of and prepared for your appointment and the COVID-19 policies we have in place.

Before your appointment:

  • Complete all online paperwork (Intake Form & Pelvic Health Questionnaire)

  • Complete the Covid-19 screening survey which will be emailed to you 24 hours before your appointment

  • Bring a mask regardless of your immunization status

  • Make arrangements to attend your appointment alone with the following exceptions:

    • Newborns and young infants

    • One partner or support person may attend prenatal "prepare for birth" physiotherapy appointments, provided they have passed all Covid-19 screens

    • One partner or support person may accompany you for internal pelvic exams and/or treatment sessions, provided they have passed all Covid-19 screens​

  • If you or anyone in your family/household feels sick, please stay home and notify me as soon as possible

When you arrive at the clinic:

  • Enter the clinic no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time

  • Sanitize or wash your hands upon entering the clinic

    • If washing your hands, please follow the hand hygiene instructions posted

  • If you forgot your mask, please notify me or one of the lovely office staff members and one will be provided one for you

  • Confirm there have been no changes to your health or the health of anyone in your household since completing the online Covid-19 screening questionnaire

During your appointment:

  • A mask must be worn at all times inside the clinic by all clients and staff members

  • Your therapist may also be wearing gloves and/or eye protection for certain procedures

  • If you need to use the washroom, please follow the hand hygiene instructions posted

After your appointment:

  • All invoices and payments will be electronic

  • Your credit card on file will be billed directly​

  • E payments will be accepted

Behind the scenes clinic COVID-19 policies & procedures:

  • Staff members also adhere to the zero tolerance sickness policy

  • All surfaces and equipment are sanitized between clients with Covid-19 approved cleaners

  • A minimum of 5 minutes is allocated between each client to support physical distancing

  • High touch surfaces around the clinic are cleaned with Covid-19 approved cleaners several times a day

  • A professional cleaning service cleans the clinic twice weekly
