COVID-19 UPDATES, POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Please read the information below so you are prepared for your appointment and aware of my COVID-19 policies. Keeping clients, staff members and our loved ones safe is my utmost priority.
***These policies and procedures are in place to protect higher risk clients and their family members, including but not limited to pregnant and postpartum clients, newborn babies and young infants of clients, grandparents providing childcare and clients with underlying conditions that put them at higher risk for COVID-19***
Symptom/Sickness Policy:

Please reschedule or change in-person appointments to virtual appointments if you have any of the following symptoms:
-
fever, chills, and/or muscle aches
-
sore throat, difficulty or painful swallowing
-
new or worsening cough
-
nasal congestion or runny nose
-
sneezing (not allergy related)
-
difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
-
loss of taste or smell
-
unexplained fatigue or malaise
-
unusual or severe headache
-
nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea
-
unusual skin rash or discolouration of fingers or toes
-
Clinic COVID-19 policies & procedures:
-
All clients need to wear a medical, N95 or KN95 mask while in the clinic. If you do not have one, we will provide one as you enter the clinic

All staff members at the clinic adhere to our symptom/sickness policy
-
All staff members at the clinic are fully vaccinated
-
All surfaces and equipment are sanitized between clients with Covid-19 approved cleaners
-
High touch surfaces around the clinic are cleaned with Covid-19 approved cleaners several times a day
-
A professional cleaning service cleans the clinic twice weekly
Before your appointment:
-
Complete all online paperwork (Intake Form & Pelvic Health Questionnaire)
-
Complete the Covid-19 screening survey which will be emailed to you 24 hours before your appointment

Bring a new medical mask, N95 or similar. If you don't have one, wear whatever mask you have and a medical mask will be provided upon entry to the clinic
-
Make arrangements to attend your appointment alone with the following exceptions:
-
Newborns and young infants
-
One partner or support person may attend prenatal "prepare for birth" physiotherapy appointments, provided they have passed all Covid-19 screens
-
One partner or support person may accompany you for internal pelvic exams and/or treatment sessions, provided they have passed all Covid-19 screens
-
When you arrive at the clinic:
-
Enter the clinic no earlier than 3 minutes before your scheduled appointment time
-
Sanitize or wash your hands upon entering the clinic
-
If washing your hands, please follow the posted hand hygiene instructions
-
-
If you do not have a medical, N95 or KN95 mask, please notify me or one of the office staff members and one will be provided to you
-
Confirm there have been no changes to your health since completing the online Covid-19 screening questionnaire
During your appointment:
-
A medical, N95 or KN95 mask must be worn at all times inside the clinic
-
A HEPA unit will be filtering the air in your treatment room throughout your appointment
-
If you need to use the washroom, please follow the posted hand hygiene instructions
After your appointment:
-
All invoices and payments are electronic
-
Your credit card on file will be billed directly
-
E payments are accepted
