Pelvic Health & Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

Assessment and treatment of core & pelvic floor dysfunction for people of all ages. Internal and external pelvic exams are available based on client comfort and needs.
Common conditions treated: leaking, urgency, frequency, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, constipation, painful intercourse, difficulty or incomplete emptying. 

Prenatal Physiotherapy, corrective exercise, pregnancy mobility

Pregnancy Support:

Support during pregnancy to reduce discomfort, prepare for birth, and stay active using safe and effective strategies tailored to a constantly changing body.

Common conditions treated: pelvic girdle pain, low back pain, SI joint dysfunction, sciatica, rib pain, bladder/bowel issues, pelvic congestion and abdominal separation.

Individual or partner sessions focused on birth education, body preparation, and pelvic floor strategies to empower birthers and optimize birth outcomes.
Common topics covered: pelvic floor release, nervous system relaxation, positions to open specific parts of the pelvis, pushing techniques, and tearing prevention.

Specialized care for those with joint hypermobility or connective tissue disorders. Treatment focuses on improving stability, strength, and function—while acknowledging and adapting to the unique challenges of hypermobile bodies.

Other Aches & Pains

Many common aches and pains are connected to pelvic floor or core dysfunction, poor posture, suboptimal movement patterns, or a lack of  strength and endurance. Using a whole-body approach, treatment focuses on identifying and addressing root causes—not just managing symptoms.

Common conditions treated: Neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, or foot pain; plantar fasciitis; tendinopathies (e.g. Achilles, rotator cuff); frozen shoulder; bunions.

Entrance: The main entrance is located on the South side of the building, accessible through the parking lot. ​

 

🚗 Parking: Free 90-minute on site parking. Please register your vehicle at the front desk upon your arrival.​

🚿 Facilities: Showers, changing rooms and lockers are available on site.
